| Descripció i Metodologia: |
ELT Textbooks have been longtime companions to English teachers: they are well structured, beautifully designed, rigorously piloted, and full of extra material. However, teachers always find aspects where they could add up to the contents, or introduce another aspect that is not considered in the outline or enhance a particular unit with a topic or activity that includes research, technology, collaboration or just a little bit of fun!
In this summer course, teachers will be able to consider aspects such as curiosity, creativity or students’ own needs to create digital projects with digital tools that will add the extra touch for personalized learning.
This course is going to be carried out through the Google Classroom platform.

| Continguts |
Module 1: Don’t let the textbook dictate: the power of curiosity and creativity. We’ll explore the need for creativity, curiosity and innovation in our English courses.
Module 2: Projects- Dkfindout. Poems with Smartphones. We’ll discuss the topic of web research to design digital projects. Then, we’ll discover how to develop literary competence using mobile learning.
Module 3: Digital Video: Chromavid. A new era for readers. Bookful. We’ll introduce Chromavid to create video recordings inside the Gizah Pyramids, on the surface of Mars or scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. With Bookful we’ll discover new readers with Augmented Reality.
Module 4: Augmented Reality: Merge Cube and Mozaik Education. Virtual Reality: Google Arts and Culture. Google Earth Voyager. We’ll sure create unforgettable Wow moments with Augmented Reality and Virtual reality. Engagement and motivation guaranteed.
Module 5: Assessment and Portfolios: Wakelet. We’ll discuss the potential of portfolios as a formative assessment tool.

- Positive attainment of the course activities: teachers will submit a total of 5 online activities in order to qualify for the course. Feedback will be provided throughout the course to help teachers correct or adapt activities to complete them.
- Attendance to, at least, 80% of the synchronous virtual meetings.
- Satisfaction questionnaire.

| Persones destinatàries |
Secondary English teachers (ESO, BAT and CFA) with a C1 minimum.
Requisits:
1. Disposar d'usuari XTEC actiu.
2. Haver certificat les activitats de formació adjudicades durant aquest curs acadèmic i l'anterior.
Criteris específics d’adjudicació. Les sol•licituds admeses s'ordenaran en funció de:
1.Vinculació al centre de treball 2.1.Funcionari 2.2.Interí 2.3. Substitut
2.Nivell de llengua C2,C1.
Si ets docent d'un centre concertat, municipal o les acreditacions d’especialitat i/o nivell de llengua (C2 o C1) requerides a la convocatòria no consten a l’ATRI, caldrà omplir aquest FORMULARI dins del període de sol•licitud.
